I offer dance as a healing/therapeutic engagement with my individual clients. In our explorations, I encourage you to tune into the wisdom of your body and through this visceral experience find your voice in a very private and non-disclosing way. I am a certified facilitator in a dance practice called Dancing Freedom, a guided, free style meditative and self reflective movement practice which is invitation to move with awareness so that you can connect more deeply with yourselves and others.
I believe in healing possibilities through body awareness and to quote sweet Samantha Sweetwater, founder of the Dancing Freedom practice movement is medicine!
Time permitting, I facilitate Dancing Freedom small group classes in downtown Toronto. Announcements of the upcoming classes are posted on this web page.
THERE ARE CURRENTLY NO DANCES SCHEDULED.
What to bring
– comfortable clothing that makes you feel good and allows you to move freely
– water to keep you hydrated
– no shoes – we dance barefoot; if that’s an issue, bring a pair of non-slip socks
– open mind and curious attitude
